I am a systems administrator looking to design an automated process that will download the SDN list without human intervention. How can I do this given that changes to the SDN list can be sporadic?
While OFAC cannot give specific advice on how to design an automated system for SDN downloads, many institutions solve this problem by setting up a scheduled download of the SDN list. These firms conduct their own risk assessments and decide how often they need to download the list in order to comply with U.S. law.
